Joan Hawkins and Devin Carter met at the most opportune of times. However, tragedy strikes and both find themselves going their separate ways. That is until ten years later, Joan has to pretend to be the fiancee of Devin who coincidentally looks exactly like her. To save her father’s life, Joan has to live with the man she once loved. Will she be able to keep up the charade or will her feelings be the one factor that exposes her true identity.

Devin Carter has only loved one woman, Joan Hawkins who saved his life at his most dire time but when she suddenly vanishes from his life, he is left searching for her. However, his situation takes a sudden twist when his arranged fiancé Chloe Finley turns out to be her exact replica but she is no Joan Hawkins. She’s an entirely different person. When he discovers, Chloe isn’t the moral princess he thought she was, he is set to break up with her. That is, until she has a sudden change in character and vows to make him fall in love with her.

Devin isn’t sure what it is about her this time but he knows his feelings has suddenly turned complicated. There is something about her. He just can’t seem to put his finger to it
