Popular author Lutishia Lovely has made a name for herself with novels exploring the relationships, sex lives, and secrets of a lively church congregation.
In Heaven Forbid, the Gospel Truth Church has lost its pastor to a scandalous downfall and is in dire need of a new leader. But is Reverend Doctor Pastor Bishop Overseer Mister Stanley Obadiah Meshach Brook Jr. the answer? And what of Passion and Stanley’s marriage, which has taken a major hit thanks to Stanley’s flagging libido?

There were no loose ends.Would you be willing to try another book from Lutishia Lovely? Why or why not?
Sure.Which scene was your favorite?
When the pastor's wife found his blow-up doll and porn collection.Any additional comments?
It was very easy to confuse the characters Passion and Princess, since they both have such playful names. Passion, as a first lady's name, doesn't seem believable. I really don't understand her motivations at all, after finding out that her husband had been wearing women's underwear and had a secret male lover. It just doesn't make sense how she could go from being so upset about her sexless marriage to being so desperate to helpSo-so

We know that there is sex, homosexuality, and profanity in the world but when I purchase an inspirational or christian selection I am looking for a departure from that that contains true inspiration free of the world's way of entertaining the masses.
While the setting is often in and the characters are members of a church, that does not make the content inspirational or christian.
I feel the book would have been just as good if it mentioned certain things versus enacting them and creating the inevible visualizations. It isn't a bad read, just well . . . :-) You choose.
