She’s spent her life being strong. Can love teach her to trust again?

Martha Kauffman has spent years holding her family farm together after the heartbreak of her brother Jacob leaving. Now Jacob is back, seeking redemption, but his return stirs old wounds Martha thought buried. Forgiving him will test her faith like never before.

Accompanying Jacob is Levi Fisher, a kind-hearted carpenter with a quiet strength that immediately catches Martha’s attention. Levi doesn’t just bring her brother home, his steady presence softens the walls around her heart. Yet Martha struggles to trust the possibility of love after so many years of heartache.

As Christmas approaches, tensions rise, and Jacob’s past threatens to unravel the fragile peace he’s trying to rebuild. Will Martha and Levi find the courage to embrace the hope of a new beginning, or will the scars of the past keep them apart?

This short and sweet story of faith, family, and the healing power of love will warm your heart and remind you that no burden is too heavy when it’s shared.

The story is charming and sweet. However, I wonder if it is written by an actual person or by
AI or chat bot. There were lines that were redundant, and I also wonder if there was issues with the virtual voice. If this is written by an actual person, I wish they would have an actual person act as the narrator that would have improved the story and added more charm.

Short sweet listen.
