Him? Dangerous. Possessive. Irresistible…..

Her? Fierce. Vulnerable. Captivating.

Together? Intense. Addictive. Explosive.

Stranded on a tropical island with a hot, dangerous stranger was not part of Sadie Callahan’s plan.

Nico Moretti is all rough edges, dark eyes, and a possessive streak a mile wide. He’s a man used to getting what he wants…and what he wants is her. From the moment they meet, he’s relentless, invading her space, stealing kisses that leave her breathless, and making it clear she belongs to him.

But Nico has secrets. Deadly ones.

And when danger crashes into their paradise, Sadie learns the truth, he’s on the run, and now she is too. With nowhere safe to hide, Nico’s solution is simple: stay close, stay quiet, and stay in his arms. He’s willing to fight for her. Kill for her….and if she isn’t careful, he’ll do the one thing she never saw coming…

Make her fall for him.

One kiss at a time.

Her Bully Stranger is a standalone sweet bully romance.

This was… an interesting attempt at dark romance. The prologue read more like a blurb or synopsis and didn’t really introduce the reader to the story, world, characters, etc. Very … textbook style.

The book opens with what I think is meant to be suspense but, the awful delivery just takes the excitement away and it feels more textbook. Unfortunately, the entire book went like this—I cannot recommend it. It’s listed as both “cozy” and YA—I don’t see how either of those fit, though while the leads are adults, it IS very juvenile at times. “If I catch you, I get to kiss you.” Are these grown-ups supposed to be kindergarteners at recess? This was … odd.

In concept, I could’ve enjoyed the dynamic between both leads, and their respective predicaments—it might be better, or at least tolerable in print or eBook format.

C4ptivity, ish.
Enemies-to-lovers … ish.
Crime.
Very immature leads.
Forced proximity.

Overall, do not recommend.

🎙️ Audiobook:
Yikes, this is not a good production—the narration is very robotic, making it honestly painful to stay tuned in. I was SHOCKED to see a human credited with doing this, as there are virtual voice options that sound less awful than this.
Absolutely terrible. I don’t understand why the author/publisher would’ve approved this, very odd choice, IMO. Do not recommend this format at all. 0 stars.
