I’m not here for holiday cheer. I’ve been hired to do a job—find out how Snow Hills cheats its way into winning a holiday decorating competition every year. I’m going to get to the bottom of it, I’m going to get paid, and then I’ll be done with this postcard-perfect town.

At least that’s the plan until I meet Liza Grable. She’s like the Christmas fairy of Snow Hill, all curves and sweetness. I’m supposed to be investigating her and her mother, the mayor, but the thought of her being a cheater simply doesn’t fit.

What does fit? The two of us together.

Snow Hills was supposed to be easy money, a brief bit of work before I moved on. But the closer I get to Liza, the more I realize I’ve found something rare and beautiful. Something I have to keep close to my heart. But I’m not the only one who can’t let Liza go.

Male Narrator stinks

Everything was ok except for the male narrator. He was so bad, but the female was fine.

Holiday love with a little suspense

I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. I wanted to yell at Crane for not just telling McGovern to shove it but it worked out. The reveal with who wanted Liza hit me from left field. I totally didn’t see that coming. Crane and Liza had an instant connection that was a surprise to both of them. I loved their happily ever after. The narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life. I recommend listening to this book.

Great story narrative not so great

The person who did the voice for Crane did not get his character at all and made everyone else sound d like bugsy Malone
Love the story though I read it before listening to it and happy I did which is probably why his voice did t work.

I loved everything about this, but to the character to the storyline it was pretty good.

Dull and desperately needing duet narration

This author has done sexier, funnier Xmas novellas (take, Snow Angel, for instance). This was a very mellow story made so much worse by the narrators, who couldn’t sell the comedy or the sexy. Mr. Campbell’s female voicing was especially bad, making women (including FMC Lizzie) sound like geriatric smokers.
