I really enjoyed This tasty little treat here's scorching romance that is filled to the brim with intense heat you just have to love the characters.
Teri did a fabulous job Narrating this beautiful story.

Narration always makes or breaks an audiobook. I gave 3 stars because a male touch was needed.
However, this is still a good listen. A slow burn love story with an exciting backdrop of nature. The scenic descriptions help bring the Ranch to life.

Terrific Story & Listen🎧 Wilderness Life & Love!

I enjoyed this slow burn romance novel, it is only my second book written by Jan Springer, the first one was much streamier than this but this one was just as good. Milena Allen has spent years in prison before being selected for the cowboys online freedom run program, a conditional release, that condition being she must work and stay at Snowy Creek Horse Ranch, which is in the middle of nowhere in the North Ontario Wilderness. Having enough of city life, Mitch, Daegen and Paul started up the ranch and are still building it up, Mitch’s sister promised to get them a work hand but they were not expecting one so soon, nor were they expecting that help to be a woman. Milena was not sure what to expect, but she was not expecting such a frosty reception or that they did not want her there, but not wanting to return to prison she was determined to show them she could be a quick learner and a hard worker. The author does a great job with her descriptive details give you a bird's-eye view of what the characters are seeing, feeling and thinking. She captures the beauty of the landscape and the hardships of living off the grid. Besides the characters getting to know each other and the building of their relationships, there is another storyline building which brings trouble to them and the surrounding area. I am not sure if this book needed to be as long as it was, but despite that, the story was interesting and captivating enough to stay with it for the fourteen plus hour audiobook. 🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Teri Clark Linden is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. She covered the roles for all the characters and was great in both the male and female roles, gave each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who was who. She had a complete understanding of the characters she portrayed, grasped each character’s persona perfectly, sounding believable and just as I pictured the character to sound. She set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this terrific listen.
