Nice listen

Lots of adventures, twisting plot and steamy romance…what’s not to love. I’ve enjoyed this series

My fave Maya Banks book yet!

I have listened to a lot of her novels, and did not expect this one to be my favorite. It has fantastic historical aspects, as well as a more modern James Bond quality. I love the strength of the heroine and the character evolution of the hero. Tim Campbell is one of the most fantastic readers out there. I now choose certain audiobooks just because he is the narrator. AND the book was included in my membership! But be warned, if you get this free book, you will end up spending plenty of credits on more books by Maya or read by Tim :)

Amazing characters

Mya did it again. Her characters come to life. The female lead is super strong. Couldn’t put this down. Has a little of Indiana Jones as well. Surprise on the bad guy.

Crazy

This was three stories in one! But Maya Banks tells it beautifully. It’s a period piece but you can really tell because the story is so compelling. You know that it’s not current because of the attire, the carriages, etc., but this does not diminish the telling of the lives of the characters. The climaxes are crazy but so good.

FABULOUS!!!

Couldn’t put this high adventure book down! Loads of surprises from the beginning all the way to the ending. Well written with much thought into historical events. The narrative was excellent also. Thank you for the entertainment!!
