Fun Book To Read

What made the experience of listening to Her Perfect Revenge the most enjoyable?

I felt like I was actually there and could see their faces

The food fight at dinner, I laughed out loud.

How strong she is, and yet vulnerable.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I almost did, I started the book before work and finished it by the next morning.

This is an enjoyable read.

Bit too long

I read somewhere that this story was originally a screenplay that was turned into a book, and I can tell. There are so many deviations from one persons POV to another that it can give you a bit of whiplash. Especially listening to it, I was often thinking, who is this now?

It wasn’t just the two main characters either. There was the maid, Bill’s father, his mother, Christina’s bestie, Jenny, and I think Bill’s bestie Jack had a moment. And there was no headed up when a new POV would appear.

That being said, there were several really funny moments, and I’m a fan of the narrator, so those things kept me on track. I did jump ahead after skimming a few chapters just after Bill and Christina got together. But all-in-all it was kinda enjoyable.

Interesting story line which holds your interest throughout. Enjoyed the unpredictable twists and turns. Narration was excellent.

At the beginning wondered what I got into, at the end so glad I did!
