Fun story

Well narrated and charming. A bit too much graphic sex for the rest of the tone of the book.

A spicy Royal Romp love story with the cutest kid ever!

This is not the “whitewashed” version of this story, which I greatly appreciate! There’s barrier breaking, heart melting, dressing downs, eye openings, hidden prejudices and reconciliations in this more diverse and inclusive version of royal sapphic romance. I especially loved the backstory of the little girl. No spoiler alerts- you’ll just have to read it! Overall, the narrator was good and had distinguishing voices for the characters, though there was a little spice missing in her love scene cooking. It’s very shuttle but most narrator’s voices take on a more intimate tone at those moments . Still, overall, it’s a great listen.

It was enlightening to see both sides of various issues and understand the perspectives of multiple characters. The author did an excellent job of this! I especially liked the reveal of motivations by the queen towards the end, but mum’s the word on details! This is a fun enjoyable book!

Insight

Enjoyed MCs and “listening” to life behind the royal curtains. Two versions of confidence find a way to connect. I like Lola’s brand of storytelling - from either side of the pond.

Excellent, absolutely loved it!!

This book was exactly what I was looking for and was narrated perfectly. I can only hope there will be a sequal. Chapter 31 alone had me on the edge of my seat.

It was everything and more. I would’ve loved if they made this into a movie. Every part of this audiobook was extraordinary and I highly recommend it.
