Good

Annie had Callum when she was fifteen. Five years later, Dom is a handsome man who is a smooth talking older man and he needs Annie. He sweeps Annie away from everything and everyone she knows to lead a life that she isn’t prepared for.
Skipping forward several more years, Callum is arrested and his aunt is trying to piece the puzzle together. Dramatic and twisted but vey slow to start. Overall a good book.

Good book, except...

I got a bit bored in the first half of the book. A bit too drawn out and Annie too annoyingly submissive. I have known women in bad situations and know it's hard to understand the reasons for staying with bad men. I got much more interested in the second half and enjoyed the book.

The twist at the end of this was amazing! Didn't see it coming. Diffently reading more from this author

never expected this!

As I read/listen to "thrillers", I try to figure out how it will end even though I love it when I'm not able to figure it out. This author certainly did nothing to give away the ending!

Loved it!

Great story! Very easy to follow, interesting characters. Original take on age old story line. Lots of twists and turns.
