I absolutely love this new author. Everything about this book is perfect. The story, the performance, an edge of your seat thriller. I didn't sleep for two nights because I couldn't stop listening.
Sarah Bonner is a 21st century Sidney Sheldon and I will always anxiously anticipate her next novel.
I have referred this book to dozens of people and they all agree.

easy to figure out

This was easy to figure out from the first few chapters. I knew exactly what was going to happen at every part of the book. No surprises.

Too many eye rolls.......

"Her Sweet Revenge" failed to hit my "sweet" spot.

WHY?
The book was too far-fetched with waaay too many eye-rolling moments.

Also, I had a hard time identifying with the protagonist's quest for revenge.

The protagonist felt that her friend died under suspicious circumstances.

Shouldn't she have been seeking justice instead of revenge?

And, finally, I was personally offended by the author's stereotypical portrayal of mothers-in-law.

C'mon now, Sarah Bonner, you can do better than that.

(And, yes, I am a mother-in-law!)

I always enjoy full-cast audiobooks and narrators Jasmine Blackborow, Sofia Zervudachi, George Weightman, and Stephanie Siadatan all did a superb job with the narration.

IMHO, Sarah Bonner's debut book "Her Perfect Twin" was a 5-star read.

Unfortunately, "Her Sweet Revenge" failed to showcase the author's many talents and was a bittersweet disappointment.
