Yesterday, Luke Benston strolled back into my life. Now, I'm not so sure I want him know about his daughter. After all, he's filthy rich and could take her away from me if he found out. Call me selfish, but Sarah is my daughter, and I'll fight for her with every ounce of my being.

But then again, he did love me once. Maybe, if there are still feelings, we can have another shot at a relationship? After all, he is my first love.

This was my first book by Jess Winters and I really liked the plot and the characters. Allie and Luke were lovers before but Luke left to pursue his career dreams, now he is back he wants to date Allie again.

Allie has never forgotten about Luke, in fact, she still thinks about him quite often. She also has a little secret that he does not know about. Now that Luke is back, will she give him another chance and will she tell him about their little gift?

Although I enjoyed this short story, there were a few grammatical errors and I would have preferred hearing the narration in a female voice since the majority of the story was in Allie's pov.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Happily Ever After, Realistic, Wonderful characters

Short Story

This is a great second chance romance. The main characters reconnect after being separated several years. It is a sweet and romantic story.
