Wish I was a space captain!

It’s a fun book meant to distract you from the real world for a little while. Right on target.

I love this series. excellently performed. Author is a great world builder. srory is funny and fast. space opera at it's most fun.

It was a good book but I was thinking that it was for young adults.

I Heck of a Good Start to this Series

Johnathon is a 16 yr old (18yrs in Earth yrs) who is traveling with his uncle on supply runs. They come out of a jump and end up in the middle of a pirate raid. The ship takes a lot of damage where the uncle is killed and Johnathon is injured badly. Still hanging on even with the injuries he disables the pirate shop killing the pilot. Narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline

Entertaining

I picked this one up somewhat on accident. I generally like books that are a little longer but was surprised how much I enjoyed listening to this book. The main character is a bit overpowered so if you are looking for realism is one probably won't work for you. I enjoy the combat scenes but but definitely didn't look to deeply here. Again I think it is a good start for the series and will listen to the rest.
