A dangerous journey. Shattered bonds. Undying passion.
Jacinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride. But she resisted her fate long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse, a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.
The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning.
Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan's Firelight trilogy.

The ideas are good, but the faculty and their plan seemed too unstable. The love triangle is starting to get pretty suffocating but it all works out in the end. There are quite a few twists and revelations that shake the core of their community that stuns the characters. Don't get me wrong, the stuff is pretty startling but the no breaks between revelations make you kind of drained and numb by that point. Almost like "why not, sure. Add that on, not much difference now.Just keep it coming."All sarcasm aside, by the end I felt like good riddance. It was a quaint little story that had you running all over the place, but seriously makes you doubt how 'perfect' the endings would ever be for these characters. They run into scenarios, choose poorly, and attract trouble everywhere. The way it ended and how it ended seemed too much of a stretch and rushed. I would not be betting against them and their future of life long happiness if I seriously didn't question their ability to live without drama. I think the author could have changed my view if they took a bit more time to elaborate but overall I'm just happy for Tamra. And that's what matters. Team Tamra!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

LOVED IT!Any additional comments?
Loved this book,. Fast pace lots of action but I was really surprised that Will did not manifest somewhere in this book. I figured it would happen since he does have the drake blood and powers. Now I just need a spin off or a follow up book to lets me know what happen to Cassin. What no Draki for Will?
