As a lay person interested in healthy living I couldn't wait to continue listening to the book each day on audible. I found it to be enlightening in explaining the significant correlation between our spiritual health, and our physical and mental health. I had never connected spiritual health to physical health and while it makes a lot of sense, Dr. McCormack's detailed explanations and descriptions brought it to life in a new way for me. While I have had teaching on this subject, and thought I had a good understanding, I found the historical perspective and analogies in this book gave me a new appreciation of how this world truly operates under the spiritual forces of darkness. It gave me a new, deeper understanding of what Christ followers face on a daily basis. I found this book to be captivating and it gave me a new lens through which to see this world while still having hope for the future.
I am not a clinician, however, I found the explanation of ruachiatry to be quite interesting, and I have recommended it to other clinicians, especially those in the mental health field.
I think anyone interested in understanding more about the "whole" of health would enjoy and benefit from reading (or listening to) this book.
