As teenagers, Kristin Dane and her two best friends took a vow to make the world a better place. Twenty years later, she's fulfilling that pledge through her fair trade shop that features products from around the world. All is well until, one by one, people connected to the shop begin dying.

Detective Luke Carter, new to the St. Louis PD, wants to know why. Before he can answer that question, however, the FBI weighs in, and Kristin suddenly finds herself in the middle of international intrigue - and in the sights of the ruthless mastermind behind an ingenious, and deadly, scheme. Can this cold-blooded killer be stopped before more people die...including Kristin?

Three-time RITA Award-winner and "queen of inspirational romantic suspense" (Library Journal) Irene Hannon doesn't disappoint in this edge-of-your-seat thriller that will have listeners up late as they rush toward the explosive conclusion.

Irene Hannon has moved to the top of my "Ten Favorite Authors" list. She writes with such depth and all of her characters are so relatable. But the part that I love the most about her stories are the endings. It is so nice to have loose ends tied up and no guess work left behind. Therese Plummer is and always will be my favorite narrator of all times...without exception.

MARVELOUS SERIES!!!

Irene is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I love the closed-door romance and how she weaves faith into real-world situations without it feeling forced. Her stories always keep you guessing, and Hidden Peril was no different.

The characters are believable, with strong backstories that make you genuinely care about what happens to them. I can honestly see her books becoming movies someday.

I rarely stop at just one of her books—I end up listening to the entire series back-to-back because they keep me engaged the whole time. This one was a great read, and I definitely recommend it.

And I have to say—Theresa Plummer is an excellent narrator. At this point, I’m a little concerned… when I meet my Mr. Wonderful, he might have to compete with her “man voice” 😂

I love the twist and turns

Author writes well, keeps your attention throughout. My only criticism is that it gets too mushy and silly at times.

This is a great book. There is several people and things to keep up with. But it's easy to follow the story and get wrapped up in the story. Luke Carter is my favorite character. And naturally Kristin, she is the star. Luke is assigned to her case. They take a liking to each other. I have enjoyed every Irene Hannon books. Therese Plummer does an excellent job narrating this book. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

I love this author. She is absolutely the best author she puts just the right amount of religion in it. That’s so precious and oh yeah I mean I just love it. It’s wonderful no way she wraps it up. I highly recommend reading Oliver books!

Great storyline and great actors
