But the slip of a woman proves him wrong. On all fronts. Alex not only charms his horses but him as well, and when trouble comes calling she proves to be a worthy ally to boot.

Very entertaining story and performance

I really love this book. The writing, the characters, and the story are all totally enjoyable. The story flows nicely with a great mix of suspense, adventure, and romance. The performance is very good. It's a very entertaining book.

Excellent book!

Horses, great characters, suspense, what more can you ask for. Going to love this series. Also read the first in the second series and it was so good I had to check this one out. Super narrators as always.

decent read

story was good. well written from a narration perspective. however if your from Montana/NW area the pronunciation of Spokane and Kalispell are going to drive you bonkers in the narrated option. especially the Kalispell pronunciation........kalispar.........so wrong. granted I was listening so who knows maybe it was written the way it was pronounced but considering all the other towns were properly pronounced and are real towns I highly doubt the author created a made up town. I purchased book two the same time as book one and I'm hesitant to start it just because I don't know if I can listen to another 9+ hrs of Kalispell being pronounced wrong.

Characters are heart warming. Enjoyed this series. Listened to this book 5 times😀. Love discreptions of Montana and mountain tracking rescue. Love Thomas!
