More than hearts are at stake for a legendary family in Cindy Dees' new miniseries, The Prescott Bachelors! Wannabe stuntwoman Ana Izzolo can't believe she's landed a starring role in actor-producer Jackson Prescott's new film. A plain Jane nobody and a megastar? Their onscreen chemistry is electric, burning up the celluloid...but offscreen Ana is stalked by danger. Like a true Hollywood hero, Jackson whisks her to his oceanfront mansion, practicing love scenes while keeping her safe. But when their real-life relationship starts mirroring the movie's leading couple, the confirmed bachelor fears he may fall for the doe-eyed ingénue. If the stalker doesn't get her first.

A typical light, amusing and breezy Harlequin romance - Ana accidentally landed the main part in a Movie she was auditioning as Stunt woman for and it was a Sci-Fi romance co-starring with the famous, polished, sexy and gorgeous Jackson. But things got out of hand when she was forced to stay with him (and his meddling Grandmother) because she had a mysterious Stalker who'd trashed her Hotel room. And, when the filming started, the danger increased..... and so too did their lust and sizzling chemistry.

Jackson wasn't in a good place (mentally) for any relationship because of a past ex Fiancé, and one mind blowing sexual time with Ana, had him quickly putting up his defences. However, their chemistry, emotional connection and push/pull on/off again frustrating relationship spilled over into each scene of the movie..... and into their off-screen lives. There's a few nice, and not too sexually descriptive, sex scenes, drama and angst caused by the stress in their relationship/love life, there's danger and suspense as the Stalker gets closer and the H/H are both 'baggage filled' likeable characters. Dual POV's and the narrator was ok.

Worth a credit? It's implausible, it's quite predictable (except the Stalker), it's instant mutual attraction and it's not very deep.... but it's a Harlequin romance so it's also entertaining, light and an enjoyable listen which was creditworthy but it screamed out for an Epilogue. Sadly, as enjoyable as it was, I don't know that I'll carry on with the whole series as it's a bit too light and tame for me.
