Great series

I just love this series. This one though, felt like it was more in depth. I liked the background stories and how detailed they were. Even though this was a shorter read, it didn’t feel rushed, the length was perfect for story and character development.

The narrator does a really great job too, but his Chicago accent misses the mark, sounding more like a New York accent. It doesn’t ruin the story though.

I really enjoyed this book and it’s definitely worth it credit.

Intense

I listened to this audiobook this week and I did enjoy it.
This is an intensely hot and sexy story that kept me listening.

The narrator did a good job but I do wish there was a female narrator that read the parts of the female character.

Edge-of-your-seat Action & Romance!!

Wow. Dueling mafia families, and one of the best romances I've read / listened to. Love these characters, their backstory and the journey they travel together. The narration is terrific. Pure entertainment to be found here.

Such a Great Series!!

“His Queen of Clubs” is the last in the series of interconnected stories about the Tacone siblings.

The family has mafia operations in Chicago and a legitimate business in Las Vegas, so the stories alternate between those locations and between their illegal and legal business activities. In the last book, most of the action takes place in Volgograd and Moscow.

There is a lot of mob action, shootouts, criminal plots, money, fast cars, etc., in these books, which I really enjoy. There is also romance and steamy sex, with mild BDSM. It is a nice balance of all the things we love about dark mafia romances.

I loved all of the books, but “His Queen of Clubs” was perhaps my favorite because the romance was sweet and evolved slowly. The family and adoption aspects of this story were especially touching.

Honestly, I don’t understand why the books in this series don’t have hundreds of reviews. Anyone who loves the dark mafia romance genre will LOVE all of these books!

Listen to or read all of the books in the series. You won’t have a boring minute with them. You’ll laugh and maybe get a bit tearful too. Highly recommended!!

Enjoyable story

I really enjoyed this story. The H is supposed to be a bad boy, but he secretly has a heart of gold. There are a lot of ups and downs in this story and a lot of adventures. :) It was my first time reading a book in this series, but it was easy to follow along even if you haven't read the other books.
