good story, great narration, but how many times do you have to use the comment "pension her off" and "migraine"?

Wonderful!

Loved everything about the well written and beautifully narrated story. It moved quickly not born down with unnecessary, long descriptions as so many others. Those long narratives insult the reader. I will seek out more books from this author.

very enjoyable story.

I absolutely loved it. great characters. great dialog. I laughed out loud at the banter between the 2 main characters. what made it so good was the narration. she was fantastic. looking forward to the next one.

Lovely Read

This book was a well written and lovely read. It has love and passion without being overly vulgar. While few things shock me at my age dwelling on sexual content in long drawn out details sometimes just sounds like someone trying to create a open fantasy than a true love scene. I don't read bed hoppers for a reason and it is not because I am a prude but I want to see the love and passion with commitment and fidelity.
The book is a good length and the story very compelling. The narrator was great! Enjoyed the story immensely and recommend it highly. Very relaxing listen!

Story was good

I chose this book because I’m a fan of the talented narrator. The story was good, I just wish Cam was a little more heroic—maybe not so wrapped up in what the people think. I know in that time period it was all about not having a scandal, but I feel like he didn’t do enough to help her when she needed him, more just “patching” the issues like he was always ashamed. Overall I liked the idea of the story and liked Lady Bridget’s character very much.
