The split second notorious gangster, Darion Rambo’s eyes light on Lanie at a party, he wants her. He doesn’t know who she is. Just as suddenly she’s gone and though he scours the town, not knowing her name he can’t find a trace of her.

Then, after weeks of searching, finally, he locates the gorgeous minx. He thinks she is his rival, Magnum Winthrop’s whore, and Winthrop, who is losing a poker game, figuratively throws her on his pile of chips. Darion wins, and to Lanie’s shocked horror, he takes her from her home.

Darion has even more of a savage reputation than Magnum Winthrop, and Lanie is terrified of him.

But, Darion won her, paid for her, she’s his. When he learns she is actually Winthrop’s virginal daughter, it changes nothing. She only wants to be free, he only wants her. Forever. Even if that means keeping her imprisoned safely in his home.

But, Lanie’s cruel father wants her back, so he can sell her. Again. And, Winthrop will kill anyone in his way to regain custody of her. As luck would have it, he gets his wish.

Lanie is snatched by her hideous father and swept out of the country, hidden away and promised to another lethal gangster, brutal Machado Brikeleli, to become his wife. Devastated, Darion does everything he can to find her, but she has vanished into thin air.

Time is running out, and Machado is even more the violent abusive man Lanie’s father is. Will Darion find her before it’s too late?
