The story was good

This book was all over the place. Charters came from out of nowhere. The the virtual voice mispronouncing names and words was annoying.

The underlying issues

It’s so hard to believe that racial stereotypes still exist. What Janea had to go through was heartbreaking. I’m in a swirl relationship and I had never heard of such things! To be treated like that is so sad. I’m glad that Noah came back for his woman and babygirl. I’m also glad that he stood up for her. I’m glad that they got their HEA. I don’t have time to sit and read, so I’m glad that this an audiobook, but I just don’t care for the virtual reader! I will dod what I have to do to listen to the book though.

Janae

There was a time when Janae was working on my nerves throughout the story but then once I paid attention to the way she was raised it helped me deal a little with my annoyance. I was mad at her for subjecting their daughter to that church. How could she be ok with their teachings when she was raising a biracial child?!?! I’m so glad she got herself together.
