Life is definitely not meant to be this hard.

His mother tragically dies of cancer, his once perfect world is turned upside down, and the coldhearted streets of Detroit couldn’t care less. Now, Lonnie McKay, homeless and alone, is caught up in the system at the mercy of others. Faced with women who could possibly help him but refuse to do so, he soon develops a vindictive dislike for every female with whom he comes in contact. Under the influence of anything he can take to get high, a delusional Lonnie sets no limits to what he’ll do to make these women pay - including murder.

Good book

This was a good book a bit scary but it was good. If it was a part 2 I’d listen.

Heartbreaking story

I definitely liked the narrator although there were times his energy came off kinda low. This story was heartbreaking in the way Lonnie was treated and left with little to no help. He was misunderstood and forgotten which resulted in him spiraling out of control. Wish his outcome could've been different bc he went through a lot.

good book, terrible narrator

this was actually a good book but it was ruined by the narrator, who continuously put periods in the middle of sentences.
