Amy’s first love appears in the form of her Russian tutor Sasha, but when she enters university at the age of 15, her life changes drastically and with tragic results.

Homesick by Jennifer Croft is One of the best memoirs I've ever read (and listened to.) One of those books their emotional impact, their raw and yet complex beauty remains in you like a loving wound, or an everlasting memory of your own.
I can't recommend it enough.

Childhood stories

Honest, human, and tragic! The author is very talented and I loved the quotes that were imbedded in the book.
