Authentic Hoodoo from a POC!

This book is perfect for beginners who respect Hoodoo and want to learn from an authentic rootworker. Love work and money works are some of the most popular conjures and requests, this book lays things out in layman's terms but encourages the reader to do the work and dig deeper.

Magic

I am a complete novice and am loving the magic and wonder of this book. An easy read. Some of the ingredients are not so easy for me to find though, but all in all, fabulous.

Love this author's work

I have read another of these authors' books, Hoodoo for Beginners. I jumped at the chance to get this one when it was available. This has been so helpful to give me a good start at connecting to my roots and my ancestors. This is helping me to further my knowledge and practice.

A good little beginners book with a few starter spells. Written with a caring heart and has an offer for 4 free books to get with this one. Going to check them out, as well. Some things could have a little more warnings or replacements that can work. I do disagree slightly with a premise, but I think it is just not explained well. Very well priced.

So this book as I read through it I didn’t realize it was in a trilogy with this being the first.

My thoughts: this book in combination with the other books is a very useful trilogy.

I ran into the same problem I have with authors in that they don’t describe Why a herb is useful in this situation describe its nature and how to get to know it better but the USE of the spell work is in my opinion Very useful as well as the insight provided.

There are great explanations for incenses and purpose. As well as useful short works that can be further furnished with your own personal traditions.

I really liked the good mood booster spell provided and I like the idea of it.
I also really liked the catholic syncretization to utilize well known prayers to perform workings and it inspired me to look at my own personal passages of the good book to be utilized in new ways :).

Over all I think as a beginner myself in this work ( as we all always are ) that this short beginners intro is wonderful for a beginner into the work and I recommend it !
