The utmost delight in life is the realization that we are loved....

As a mail order bride, Hope finds herself married to an outlaw. She is left stranded on the Oregon Trail at about the same time as Daniel’s wife dies of cholera. The wagon train master strongly urges them to join forces and marry.

They plan to have the marriage of convenience annulled in Oregon, but a life and death situation reunites them before that happens.

Will Hope settle for less than Daniel’s whole heart? Can he let go of his grief and take a second chance at love?

Book Three of the Prairie Roses Collection, Hope finds herself in a bind and is forced to become a mail order bride.

I really enjoyed this easy to read, interesting story in the form of an audiobook and was able to listen to it in a few hours.
It is well written, flows nicely from scene to scene, has a pair of really nice main characters who bravely face the hardships that life dishes up and do something with their lives that impact on their relationship and improve it.
This is the type of story that could rekindle hope and trust in one's life and that could possibly help a lot of people.
I enjoyed the narration by Jessica Caruso which was easy to listen to and I found it a pleasure to listen to.
My voluntary review above is unbiased and written after listening to an ARC copy of the audiobook.

Hope is an orphan from Illinois, who has lost her fiancé. With no job prospects, and out of options, Hope responds to a mail-order bride ad. Her new husband is traveling with a wagon train on the Oregon Trail. Hope finds out too late that her husband is not a kind man. In fact, she learns, after his death, that he was an outlaw. Now she’s faced with a predicament...how to stay with the wagon train as a single woman. The answer comes in the form of the newly widowed Daniel. Although neither is excited of the idea...the wagon master insists that the pair be married on the Trail or get off at the nearest town. They agree, with the understanding that the marriage will be annulled upon arrival in Portland. As the wagon train continues, Daniel and Hope get to know each other and become friends. Will their friendship become more or will Hope’s desire to be #1 in Daniel’s heart be too much to ask?
Another sweet, clean romance...with a touch of angst

Hope is the title of this wonderful story of faith, hope and love, just as written in 1st Corinthians 13.
Hope is also the name of one of the main characters in this story and she had a lifetime of struggles and hard times but she always remained hopeful. I really enjoyed this love story written by Barbara Goss and I highly recommend it. Also, Jessica Caruso does a great job with the narration.
