great story has it all. just hard waiting for continuing of story, but well worth.

Short and sweet, well worth the credit, excellent narrator . Author is new to me hope she decides to put entire serial on audible and keep same narrator she was very entertaining.

Just be prepare; this is a series, and you will need all the books to get the full storyline. Trust me, it's worth it. Wish it was sold in a full set! Book one dives deep into world-building, character development, and setting up the slow-burn tension between the FMC and a powerful vampire who is absolutely pining for her. And yes the smut is glorious. I loved this authors work in The Never King, so I had high hopes for this series, and it did not disappoint. I couldn't put it down and there were moments I caught myself staring off into space, completely lost in the story.

If you enjoy immersive world-building, addictive slow-burn romance, and spicy tension, I highly recommend diving into this series.
