DK
DK's approach breaks new ground. How Money Works demystifies processes and answers the hundreds of financial questions we all have.
Money facilitates the billions of transactions that take place every day across the globe. How Money Works shows you how this is possible. It explains economic theories, how governments raise and control money, what goes on in the stock exchange, how analysts predict where shares are heading, and many other issues. It busts jargon, explaining terms such as quantitative easing, cash flow, bonds, superannuation, and the open market.
Our forefathers may have used simple bartering to exchange goods and services, but today we depend on complicated financial instruments for pensions, life assurance, mortgages and more. How Money Works explains how these work, as well as how to avoid online fraud and where to invest.
This comprehensive audiobook will fast-track you to financial literacy and get the most from your hard-won cash.

Great book for individuals with no understanding of how money works.

However, it is a little repetitive at times as the same content is covered at several different times, possibly in different ways and contexts, but feels like I'm hearing the same thing sometimes. And it is a bit UK-centric, but is relatable enough, and does eventually get around to some US-specific aspects too.
If you want to hear a lot of money terms explained, then this book covers it :) . If you want deep, interesting stories and detailed examples, then probably not. I liked it enough to make it the entire way, and don't regret buying.
