This delightful little story tells of a young girl's time with her grandmother as she relates the legend of how the mischievous little white fox with all his grand adventures going over, under and through became the red fox we know today. How the Fox Got His Color may well become an all time children's classic and a perfect audiobook for the young listener. Designed to help listeners learn new languages, it is available in a range of bilingual editions.

Note: This audiobook is a bilingual German-English edition.

This kind of bilingual children's story is exactly what I have been searching for. The narrator who is proficient in both languages first reads a sentence in English then again in German. You get to hear the German immediately after hearing the meaning in English so that you don't have to meticulously translate word for word but rather take it in naturally as a child does when acquiring language.

I like this because I just listen Ina relaxed state instead of trying to force the translation. After listening several times the phrases in German become more and more familiar, understandable.

I'm going to see if the author has more children's stories.

I just have one criticism - the recording quality could be better. But the existing sound quality is good enough to clearly understand the spoken text. The meter and reading speed is good.

Helpful for language immersion
