Amanda Eyre Ward plumbs the depths of loss and captures the uplifting power of hope in this stirring novel. How to Be Lost is a devastating portrait of a family ravaged by grief—and by the very human longing to make things right again. Three sisters are on the verge of running away from home when the youngest, Ellie, disappears without a trace. Fifteen years later, sister Caroline finds that shemight still be alive.

I’m finding that all the books by this author just ends without any closure. I don’t think I will read or listen to anymore of her books. They leave you empty, like why have I wanted all this time for nothing. It would be different if they were series but this is awful!!!

I didn’t love this book. Caroline was annoying and the ending was a abrupt and left unfinished. Lots of important details of the story were left unexplained. Just didn’t think the story was finished.

Left dangling at the end

I liked the plot but the ending left me hanging. I think it needed another chapter to tie up loose ends.

Interesting Read

What the heck was that - you can’t end it there. A decent story but needed more at the end.

That ending!

Lots of things are happening in this book and nothing is ever explained. Book abruptly ends. Narrator is fine though she does have a nasally type of voice.

Not much of ending..
