My new roommate is a gorgeous demon.
The most uptight, boring demon in all of existence. Did I mention that he hates me?
I'm only living with him because my brother trusts him to prevent me from having any amount of freedom.
Until he loses control for a second. Just a split second, but that second is enough.
I learn that he doesn't hate me... he just doesn't want to admit I'm his potential mate.
So, I have a new mission in life: seduce the gorgeous, grumpy demon with every tool in my possession. Especially my lust.
Contains mature themes.

I was surprised by Bash in this one, not gonna lie. I like how stone-cold he tried to be but couldn't handle Brynn being with someone else. The cracks in his armor kept getting bigger and bigger until they couldn't be contained any longer. I loved how his mom got involved haha, they tried to scheme up some stuff and one of there plans went very poorly and it had huge ramifications. Bash had to stick up for himself and his potential mate when someone interfered where they shouldn't have. It was cute to see how Brynn was the only one who could calm him down.
I thought the chemistry with these two was fantastic, they tried so hard to not let it win but it was no use haha. I liked seeing Bash's vulnerability and Brynn's fiery nature come out and go toe to toe with him. I also really liked seeing them realize what the other needed. Again loved all the side characters who were main characters in previous books have some great air time. I think this series will forever be my favorite by this author. I thought they did a great job with this world building and relationship details without having crazy long books, which is surprising haha.
Narration was good, thought the performances brought the characters the justice and I was very engrained in the storyline and rarely wanted to be distracted and have the story paused haha. The feral nature Bash showed was done really well, the love from the brothers' family was so evident and they already had added Brynn into the fold before they knew she was Bash's mate. I am already far into the spinoff trilogy with the dragons and I love this couple gets more cameos there too!
4.5 stars from me, great series of interconnected standalones and paranormal yumminess!
Great way to end this trilogy!
