Narration ruined the book

Makes me wonder if anyone listened to the narration of this book prior to releasing it. It is awful! So bad that I simply couldn't listen to it.

Hard to listen to

Terrible reader. Characters are OK but behavior is not belivable. Lots of intrigue crammed in but still not holding my interest. Villians are very Snidely Whiplash. I expect them to tie Nell to the railroad tracks.
