What’s worse than werewolves??

That’s the question at the heart of the beloved cult-classic horror film, Howlers. Relive the perilous adventures of the Bradshaw brothers as they try to save Talbotsville from a Howler infestation. Will Landis Lake ever be safe to swim in again, or will the town fall captive to the beasts?

Celebrate the film’s 39th anniversary with the first-ever novelization, chockfull of behind-the-scenes accounts and bloopers from the crew who lived it—and who know that when the moon is full, all howl breaks loose …

In this comedic mockumentary-style book, Brian Paone turns the band Hiphopmcdougal’s real soundtrack, of a fake 1986 werewolf movie, into a pawsitively furtastic novella.

This was fun.

Told as the story of a documentary about a cheesy slasher from the 70's this was pure camp and loyal to the genre of B list 70's and 80's horror flicks. This was an amusing, nostalgic, trip into the slasher/horror camp films that I grew up with.

The off the shelf, stereotype characters, the jock and his nerdy little brother, the beautiful ladies, the over-armed, retired vet with no sense, common or otherwise, and the scientist who knew too much. Also present were the podcaster and the eccentric crew who made this (fake) horror movie.

It was just a good time for someone who loved those absurd movies as I grew up. This was worth my time to read.
