Book two of the award-winning Paradigm 2045 trilogy.

Less than three months have passed since Captain Charlotte Omandi and the crew of Earth’s first starship, the TSS Bladerunner, narrowly prevented an extinction-level event from wiping out humanity.

Omandi knows Earth remains on borrowed time, until she meets with leaders of the Galactic Confederation to convince them that our planet no longer represents a threat. As she and her crew prepare to become the first humans to travel outside our solar system, a string of assassination attempts lead them to an unlikely mystery.

Rejoin Captain Omandi, Misha Sokolov, James Branson, Linnea Sorenson, along with new and returning members of Bladerunner’s crew, as they unleash Omandi’s Daemon in service to uncovering what might be the most heinous crime ever perpetrated on sentient life.

Omandi leadership and faith will be tested like never before as she guides her team to a critical decision. Do they submit to a seemingly unlimited galactic power and secure Earth’s future, or do they risk everything and fulfill humanity’s promise?

If you grew up watching any scifi and dreaming of exploring brave new worlds this is the book for you. The pop culture references anyone of us would make are deftly sprinkled into key moments providing texture, fan service and humor to the story.

Ross proves that great space stories don't have to be bogged down in drama nor dark to be great or to tackle deeper meanings in their stories.

the space exploration we grew up wanting

Bought the 3rd book (Kindle & Audible) as soon as I could. Book two was really well done. RWR raises a few moral and ethical issues, yet unlike some authors he never goes down the self-righteous path.

Nick Podehl gave his usual excellent performance.

Finished 2nd book; bought book 3 asap

I have never experienced so many emotions contained in a single work. I include prior works in this description as well! What a fresh and insightful take on living. Please keep them coming.

Hypnotism via intel laced with humor!

This was a brilliant way to celebrate diversity in sentient beings. Then to add good values and a sense of conscience to the characters made a worthwhile and enjoyable read. Of course the Narrator, Nick Podehl, also was an excellent choice as he is one of the best in the business. So on to the next adventure TSS Bladerunner.....may the space opera continue.....
