Coasting on the back of the positive happiness waive of personal fulfillment books these last few years. This is very light on information. I will summarize. The Danes are statistically a happy bunch. They like soft lighting, small groups of friends, and hot drinks, which all contribute to feelings of general contentment. So, light some candles, make some friends, and make hot chocolate and your life will be so much more full of hygge.

I enjoyed the book quite a bit and I thought that the narrator /author warmed up quite a bit as he went along. I thought his narration added an extra depth of charm to the book its self. I thought it was a nice overview of the idea of hygge.

I loved listening to the author narrate this little book which inspired me to start incorporating many of the simple ideas into my own life as I listened. I like that it's short enough to listen to again and again. Hygge is new to me but something that is impacting simple things in my life as I become more mindful of ways to make my surroundings and experiences 'hygge-ly'. It's definitely not difficult to do and I think it's already enriching my life. Highly recommend.
