First book is better than the second

The first book isn’t too bad but the second book needs some work. 95% of the time the author wanted to refer to the main female characters but not use their names, it was “the blonde” or “the brunette”. 3% of the time the author referred to their hazel or green eyes instead. You do the math …

Story was fine. Stepping backwards to canned voice was not! Why dio this when there are dio many wonderful. living, human narrators.
