As Celeste adapts to her new life in Maine, she never stops dreaming of Chile. But even after democracy is restored to her home country, questions remain: Will her parents re-emerge from hiding? Will she ever be truly safe again?

Good/sad book

I really liked the book it is a must read

Historical Context and beautifully written

Chilean Author writes this book from a teenager’s point of view. The girls in our book club 13 of them loved it.

Good learning opportunity about Chilean history

I had to listen to this at a higher speed because the reader sounded like she was reading it to a primary classroom. I would have preferred to read it myself but was on a road-trip.
Good story. Perfect for middle schoolers to read for themselves.

Absolutely could not listen to this reader. Had to buy the physical book and read it myself.
