I Was Standing in the Door...

This book began as an attempt to help me figure out what this very long and interesting journey of mine was all about. For the past twelve or thirteen years I have written snippets about my life which I looked at one day and determined that maybe those few words could help someone who had been or was going through something similar to my situation. I don't have any magic formula to withstand enormous pain and heartache, but I do have something to say about how God saved me from me. He forgave me for all the mistakes, the wrong turns in the road, and my own ego-driven collapse to give me so much more than I had ever known before. All I am doing is hoping you can identify with some parts of this life which can help you as you try to figure out what in the world do you do now. As for me, it's about really learning and understanding that He loves us, disciplines us, and redirects our lives to a much better place. It's called Faith.
