Want to generate some heat? Try some Ice. Sherice Solomon, the serial killer known as Ice, is moving west, and Santa Maria, California, seems an enticing new hunting ground. Ex-CIA agent Morgan Garrett has also chosen Santa Maria as his new home. When a chance meeting brings them together, Sherice realizes how lonely she has become. She needs a partner, and Morgan is her choice. Now the only thing left to do is to convince him, and she won't let anyone stand in her way, especially an old flame.

Seldom are serial killers female. In this story, ICE is a female serial killer. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there wasn't the tired old "pretty woman gets men to do anything" concept in the story. It would have been nice if Sherice was more cunning and less stiletto heels. I found it a little surprising the police (Darcy) was so sure ICE was a man. Guess they didn't have police profiler. Sherice was certainly certifiably nuts and deadly. I felt the ending was a little disappointing and hoped the good vs evil would have been more of a battle. All in all, I thought it was a good book. I kept reading just to see how long it took for them to know who ICE really was. A shame they didn't manage it on their own.

Sherice was one crazy lady
