For those who have not researched their heritage on ancestry websites, they have no idea what part of Africa they are from. They have no clue as to the tribe their ancestors belonged to, nor the language they spoke. While every other race can say that their relatives are from Germany, or Ireland, or wherever, African-Americans do not have that privilege. It’s no surprise that over time they would eventually lose their identity. Some African-Americans are leaving the church and joining “pro-black” conscious and religious groups- because they don’t see clearly the contributions people of color have made, not just to history, but also to the Bible and the development of the Christian faith. Sound teaching, some questions

This book was well researched and supported biblically. However I have some questions around proof of completions with the race color scheme. Egyptian and dark skin ranges both between dark to brownish. Love the proof provided on Negroland and other maps. Struggling with stats of how many African Americans may have been actual descendants of Igbo people.

Will definitely be recommending. Great for discussion!
