Or I couldn’t mediate with words, at least. Thankfully, though, draining everyone of their magic was always an option.

Fantastic narration!

This book is the best of the series. The family interactions are so real. Anyone with a blended family should be able to relate. It's funny and exciting and tense. Well written and well narrated.
