Things I should never, under any circumstances, ever do: ask my secret crush, aka the most notorious (reformed) playboy in pro hockey, to take my virginity.

Too bad, I did.

After a string of terrible dates, I did the unthinkable. I propositioned Flip Madden. Of course, he said no. It isn’t that he’s almost a decade older than me, or that I’m still in university. It’s because I’m his coach’s oldest daughter. Not to mention my dad would bludgeon him with his hockey stick if he found out. Which he won’t, because it will never happen.

And now things are awkward because there’s no going back. Except Flip is more protective than ever, and his eyes follow me around every room we’re in together. He brings flowers to my recitals and reads all the books I recommend.

Things I should never, under any circumstances, ever do: hope Flip Madden might actually want me too.

*Flip and Tally's coach's daughter, age gap, forbidden romance, and the final standalone in the Toronto Terror Series.

The perfect end to a wonderful series! The wait for Tally and Flip was long, but so worth the wait. I adored this book, and I'm sad we have to say goodbye to all of these wonderful characters.

CJ and Lee were amazing narrators, as always! Now off I go to go re-listen to the whole series!

Thank you for giving me this wonderful friend group to escape to - gotta love a world where people are able to express their feelings clearly - dare I say your books would be educational for young couples and not just for the spicy fun. Looking forward to reading /listening in duet to more Helena Hunting books. Fingers crossed for more Toronto Terror adjacent books.

Best way to end a series

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series! Beatrix' story is literally one of my go-to rereads right now. I CAN NOT wait for Brody's story to come to this universe. This book just really missed the mark and I think its the narration. I'm not super sure Lee Samuels read the portions of the dialogue that weren't his. CJ Bloom would say something like, "He said like the snowman" and the MMC would say in a totally normal voice, "Do you want to build a snowman?" Come on man!!!! Another example, the couple were stuck in a closet playing hide-and-seek and CJ Blooms character whispers while the MMC just chats away like its a regular old Tuesday. I mean, just try a little! That scene could have been so smoking hot and instead it was just blah. I was fine granting my 4-star review and moving on and then I saw other reviews crowing about the narration. Will this be a cute love story between young adults?- Yes. Is there hockey?-Yes. Would I recommend it?-No. Would I blather on about how awesome the narration was?- No. Would I go out of my way to be a Karen and write this review just to help balance the scales in the world?- Yes.

this story I was excited for I mean flip has been through all these Terror books and I was anxious for his story. I'm not going to lie when I say the endearments a little bit got on my nerves but that's a personal thing not a book thing actually the story itself was very good even with the age Gap it really that's not much of an age Gap to be honest 9 years is nothing. I loved when Flip or Phillip started seeing her as much much more but I also love his self-control and how he was worried about his reputation cuz as we all know from the other books he has one heck of a reputation. and of course she is the coach's daughter so that makes things a little hairy but the story was done very well I enjoyed it a whole lot and I'm going to miss this group of friends cuz I don't think we really got anybody else in this group for her to write about though there are a few that are there I think there's might be a possibility of something but probably going off in a different direction. but of course that's up to the author but all I can say is well done

such a good ending
