In the charming town of Maple Springs, Vermont, autumn paints the streets with golden leaves and crisp possibilities. At the heart of it all, Ever After & Co. is the go-to destination for dream weddings—and no one pulls off happily ever after quite like Brady Whitaker and Tori Bennett.

They’re partners, best friends, and the perfect team—at least on paper. But when a twist of fate throws them into the spotlight as more than just business partners, the lines between pretend and possible begin to blur.

As the season shifts and feelings deepen, Tori and Brady must decide if their story ends with a curtain call…or a real walk down the aisle.

A cute and cozy romance that’s perfect for a cold winter night with a mug of hot chocolate. The story has total Hallmark movie vibes—comforting, predictable in the best way, and easy to sink into. It did take me a little while to get used to the female narration, but once I did, it didn’t detract from the story at all. Overall, a sweet and enjoyable listen. 3.75/5

While listening, I could literally picture the scenes playing out. It gave strong rom-com movie vibes, like something you’d watch on a chill night. The pacing felt right, and the emotional shifts didn’t feel forced. The female narrator really stood out to me, her voice felt calm and relatable, which made the story easier to sink into. Overall it felt warm and familiar in a good way, like revisiting a favorite trope done well.

This was one of those listens I put on “just for background” and then suddenly I was paying full attention. I liked how the story took its time and didn’t rush things. The friendship aspect felt believable, not overdone. It’s light but still keeps you interested. I wouldn’t call it dramatic, but that’s what made it work for me. Perfect for evenings when you just want something soft and comforting without thinking too hard.

Easy, sweet and completely addictive

I honestly went in with low expectations and ended up really enjoying this. The small-town feel was cozy without being boring, and the relationship development felt natural. At some point I caught myself thinking this would make such a cute romance movie, like the kind you put on with snacks. Also, I really liked the female narration, it sounded natural and warm, not stiff at all. It was actually refreshing and made the listening experience smoother for me.

Felt like watching a comfort movie

It is a sweet story set in picturesque Maple Springs, Vermont. I love the descriptions of the town and all of the little shops. The interactions between Brady and Tori are dripping with feeling - if only they could tell each other how they really feel!
