Aliens are real, they happen to be gorgeous, and there’s no way I’d ever agree to be a tribute bride for them.

Now that everyone on Earth knows about the Drexians - and their need for human mates - women have been falling all over themselves to volunteer. But not me.

Oh, I’m eager to go to the holographic space station where human brides are taken for their fantasy weddings and honeymoons. But I’m there to work, not fall in love. If the captain of the ship will let me do my job.

The last thing I need is some cocky alien who questions my abilities. Even if he is a hot Drexian warrior who looks at me like I’m a snack.

Kalex may be acting captain of the new Love Boat being built on the outskirts of the galaxy, but that doesn’t mean he calls the shots. At least not when it comes to the design of the space station. That’s my job. A job he makes more difficult at every turn.

When things start to go wrong on the station, Kalex and I are forced to work together to save the station. But as tempers fly and sparks ignite, can we save the Boat and ourselves from the deadly Kronock plot?

This standalone sci-fi romance novel features steamy scenes on an alien space station, a smoking-hot Inferno Force captain who does not like to be disobeyed, and a guaranteed HEA. If you like feisty heroines, aliens with extra erogenous zones, and lots of adventure, you’ll love Ignite, the first book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Inferno Force of the Drexian Warriors series.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks when I travel. This was a great story. I even used the self checkout at my local store so I wouldn’t have to stop listening long enough to talk to the cashier. And I never use the self checkout.

The narrators worked well together and did the story justice. I’d love to hear more from them in the future.

My only problem were a few areas in the beginning of the story. The narrators weren’t in sync and sounded like they were posted together quickly and did not match. A bit jarring, and If it had continued (there were a few instances at the end) I would have stopped listening.

Overall, a very entertaining read, delectable voices and a story that makes you want to keep listening. I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series now.

Great story

Another hit series by Tana Stone. Her books are fun and give all the feels. The women are strong, sassy and know what they want. The men are sexy, dominant and won’t take no for an answer. The sparks fly in and out of bed. Can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Loved it!!!

Wonderful storyline. I read in paperback but so enjoyed hearing it live. Opposites attract scenerio but with a happy ending. Laughter, fun and sexy. Looking forward to more of the series.

A must read

I’ve been reading the Tribute Brides for a while. I’ve also been listening to more Audible books. I find that my pleasure listening can be impacted by whether or not I’ve read the book first and have the characters voices fixed in my head.
In this encounter I will say that I LOVE the male narration & I like how you don’t have to hear a female narrator impersonate a male character. The female is one where I’d prefer the speed to be slightly slower, she seems too fast. Does that make sense?
Story is what we’d expect, I enjoy the setting. Familiarity with the characters from previous books makes for a desire to skip through some, you could skim if you were reading, but Can’t with listening.
Overall, enjoyable.

Good enough

Read the ebook, but the audiobook seemed to move along a little slow. Not sure if I have gotten used to a faster, more action packed story lately, but this story seemed to drag at certain points. I really enjoyed the ebook, but the audiobook, not so much. Will try 1 more book because I know it has more action in next story, but will have to see if it holds my interest enough to continue with the series in audiobook or not. Not to critique the narrator, but I have found that some books just don't make good audiobooks... but they are great ebooks.

Good book, but story seemed kinda slow.
