I love a relatable FMC!

Olivia was one of my favorite characters. Her struggles with self esteem, belief in herself, finding her strength were all things I can relate to. Then add in a steamy tattooed British man and sign me up! the spice was spicing. With the twist of the ex it had my attention from the first second until the end. I love the way E.A writes I can not wait to read more of her books!

💬 Although it wasn't what I expected, this was an enjoyable read that I listened through pretty quickly. I thought this would be a stalker romance, but it was more of a romantic suspense because the FMC was being stalked, and the love interested is not her stalker.

I did feel like in the beginning few chapters some of the descriptions of their meet cute/meetings are repetitive about her being on her knees, but other than that I really enjoyed the story. I don't mind dark romance, but this was more of a romantic suspense which is definitely more my vibe.

I also was convinced the story was going to take a different direction than it did but it still sucked me in- like I said I blew through this pretty quick because I was so invested.

My only complaint, (and this won't be an issue in the ebook) is that there was very little break between chapters/POVs. IDK if that's a narrator issue or production issue but it made it really hard at time to follow because the transitions happened so quickly and the narrator didn't say "Chapter [x]" just said the chapter title and who's POV it was.

Other than that this is a really good romantic suspense to lose yourself in for a few hours!

What a book! The past is always watching you. Olivia is always looking over her shoulder, because her past cant let go of her. Olivia and Jack have a meet cute and it’s a whirlwind from there. Great romantic suspense.

Twisted Obsession

This was my first experience with this author's work. I thought this author described the reality of someone who experienced Olivia's travails in a very realistic way. I felt for Olivia and everything that she went through. I liked Jack Walker and his concern for Olivia. There were some steamy scenes, and I liked that the author let one know in what chapter those scenes were located, at least in the audiobook format, so the listener could skip those scenes if they chose to do so. I thought Sloane Mitchell's narration was great, and her performance kept my attention. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

With the amazing mental health representation, you go through all of the angst, fear, and relationship highs and lows with Jack and Olivia as they navigate through their traumas together. Oh and if you’re wondering if there is a scosche of spice, there definitely is the perfect amount! Also the narrator is absolutely amazing and does a great job of keeping the listener engaged in the story, which can be a struggle sometimes. So if you are a Romance reader/listener definitely put this one in your playlist!
