This book is designed to take the average citizen into what it's really like to be a cop. The book has many short stories that the author has personally gone through to try and describe this. At the end of the book, the author goes into how he believes that policing should be changed here in the USA.

The author uses quotes from the late Martin Luther King to help shed some light on why he has chosen to try and institute the discipline of "I'm sorry, can we start over again?"

This book did shine light on what some days look like for a police officer. It shows through time some of their struggles and thoughts through their careers. I hope that everyone would read this and it will help to direct the lives of those who are and are not police officers.
