Amazing

Loved the book and instead re-reading it I thought I'd listen instead, omg, this was AMAZING! So well done, it felt like I was experiencing the book for the first time. I have to admit, I sat in my car in the parking lot a few times just to finish the chapter. It felt like she was right next to me, speaking to ME. Yes I am now an Imagining Diana groupie but I haven't been this excited since I used to count the minutes to Sunday night first for Sex in the City then for Mad Men.

I've often thought what if...
This was a lovely story with enough factual events woven in to read like another Diana biography, but with a very different ending. The author demonstrates the fruits of her indepth multifaceted research. Thank you for bringing this story "to life"! I look forward to the next book!!

Pleasantly Surprised

Having read part of another "what if" book about Princess Diana, I was skeptical about this one. I needn't be. This was done in a very researched and tasteful manner. I think this would have been the ending we would have all wanted for her. Happiness and contentment. I loved listening to the recording. Stina Nielsen did a remarkable job with the different voices. If you love Diana, do yourself a favor and enjoy the daydream.

Diana’s Alternative History

This is the alternate ending most people wanted for the iconic Princess of Wales, but it is only a pipe dream on a glorious scale, One cannot rearrange history except in fiction. Yet Diane Clehane has outdone all post-Diana authors in elevating the dead Princess on a higher plane. It is a better novel than Blood Royal, in which the fictional Di shoots Charles and kills him, and leaves none of the bitter aftertaste of the incredible plot of the equally excellent Untold Story by Monica Ali.

The ending she should've had.

A very fine work of alternate history. Little sound and music, but, excellent narration. She's great with accents. Plan to keep it. 10/10.
