Abrupt finish - half a book

I just felt unbelievably annoyed that the story was just ended abruptly and the story was wrapped up or finalised in any way.

Even with book series, there is usually some sort of conclusion to each book, but not this book no conclusion just a full stop - for an amazing story and talented author it is very disappointing that this is the tactic used to make me buy two half books and pay for two full books. If it wasn’t for this I would be recommending this author to all my friends.
