Moved a little slow in the beginning

I thought the first half of the book was basically fluff. It moved a little slow. Second half, the action picked up and it got more interesting. The book was also a little short. These things coupled together to make me feel a little cheated. However, I like this series and I like Ken’s writing.

Killed it, loved it

Great book, didn’t expect it, this series keeps getting better and better, keep it up please. Narration was excellent also

Second book by Ken I finished this week. I love these stories. I have been into science fiction my whole life. I would suggest if you want to get into First Colony series start with book 1. you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful continuing storyline

Seems to move you from area to another quickly and non-labouriusly. It's a great storyline. Looking forward to the remainder.

Great transition story

After 2 major wars I was afraid the writer would be finished with this story…. I am glad it didn’t end. There is so much more to explore and FTL would open up even more opportunities.

I really love this book series!
