Where do we stand in the fight against HIV/AIDS? Today's show takes a looks at the politics and decision-making behind how money is spent to combat the disease. Susie has an interview with Elizabeth Pisani, author of the new book The Wisdom of Whores: Bureaucrats, Brothels and the Business of AIDS, in which they examine the government's bamboozling of the public about what's being done. They also discuss whether the number of sexual partners one has indicates the inevitability of contracting AIDS. And what about condoms? Are sex workers in countries that require condoms changing attitudes, because using them has caused a decrease in the disease?

Finally, in the "Try This at Home" mailbag, Susie deals with a delicate situation. What do you say to a listener who asks, "Help, my new husband is 40 years old and he's completely in the dark about sex!"
